I’m a Virtuoso Travel Advisor, so of course I’m going to tell you it is always better to contact a Travel Advisor as opposed to booking travel online. This is the first of a several part series that I am doing to back up my claim; it is better to collaborate with a Travel Advisor than book online (ok full disclosure, it may be a 20 part series-I’ve got a lot of ammo). Each article will feature a reason and back it up. At the end of the series I will wrap it up with a bulleted list of reasons, so stay tuned!
Why use a Travel Advisor? You can always research a cruise or travel destination online and then book it. The internet provides a lot of information, why not look-it and book-it?

Reason #1-We are travel experts, this is what we do for a living and what we do doesn’t add a penny to your cost, in fact we will save you money and add value. Why? We provide additional value and add no additional cost-We are paid by the travel vendors and suppliers. That’s right, we are paid a commission by the suppliers that is part of what you are paying whether you book with us or online. In fact, many of our suppliers provide amenities and pricing to us that you simply can’t get anywhere else-oops, that is Reason #2, guess I let the cat out of the bag.
